Do you think you know what the neoconservative party stands for? Do you think that they come from conservative roots? Think again:
At least our president provides us with some comic relief:
In a recent interview with Katie Couric, McCain got the basic timeline of the U.S. surge in Iraq completely backwards. He insisted that the surge prompted the Anbar Awakening, when in actuality the Anbar Awakening happened long before a surge was even spoken of. To make matters worse, CBS covered John McCain's ass by some shifty editing.
Now is when one really needs to ask ones self: Do I really want a commander in chief who is oblivious to our operations in Iraq? This is an extremely important question in regards to John McCain because he bases his entire campaign on our military presence in Iraq.
Edit: Changed CNN to CBS on the link
Send Karl Rove to Jail because he deserves it. He was served and totally ignored it. Nobody is above the law. Do you think if I ignored a subpoena that they wouldn't arrest me?
Things like this disgust me. I can't believe our military and our government is allowing this sort of stuff to happen without punishment. It's getting worse every day. Please read the below article and sign the petition. Just imagine this being your daughter, your sister, or your best friend. Maybe then you'll realize how horrible this actually is.
Dear Friend,
LaVena Johnson was 19 years old, serving in Iraq as a private in the Army, when she was raped, murdered, and her body was burned--by someone from her own military base. Despite overwhelming physical evidence, the Army called it a suicide and closed the case.[1]
For three years, LaVena's parents have been fighting for answers. At almost every turn, they've been met with closed doors or lies. But together we can help achieve justice for LaVena and other families who have suffered similar tragedies.[2]
Will you join me in standing with the Johnsons and calling on Henry Waxman, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, to investigate the Army's cover-up of Lavena's death?
Thanks.
